Big, Heavy and Shiny! : Wallace Queens 18/10 65-Piece Flatware Set

I ordered these as a gift for my mom. She got them and said the box was full of metal chips and the terminate on the silverware was covered in chips/pits. She said it looked like the shiny coating was chipping off and falling into the box. She said the chipped places were dark as if the silverware was assuredly made of lead. I don't even understand how that's inherent given they are supposed to be stainless steel, not plated. This was embarrassing. We returned them.
